We will take you on a deep journey within to bring balance and peace to the body, mind & soul. Teachers will share ancient yoga practices to help you unplug and calm the mind amongst a stunning backdrop scenery. Offering you daily yoga, guided meditation and reiki.

Three teachers will take care of you and accompany you on this magical trip. Included are daily meals, 9 nights accommodation, travelling with SUVs, experienced tour guides as well as daily Yoga and Meditation classes. Suitable for Beginners

Teachers

L Farrah Furtado ( E RYT 500) is the lead instructor of Bend it like Buddha Yoga studio @praia da Rocha in Portimao, Algarve. She studies traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore, India at Guruji BNS Iyengar’s school at the Krishnamacharya shala each year. She received the advanced certification in Vinyasa Flow yoga in Goa, India.

Furtado studied meditation with Venerable-monks for 5 years at the Buddhist monastery in Taiwan , (Fo Guan Shan) and has her 3rd degree in Usui Reiki. She has a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada

Farrah is the Founder/ Director of the Kaohsiung Yoga School in Taiwan since 2011 ( RYS 200) and has lived in Asia for over 10 years studying the healing arts

Reshma Datar started her studies with Sujata Nerurkar and Dr. Renu Mahtani at Param Yoga, Pune, India. In 2011 she completed her training in Hatha Yoga and Medical Yoga Therapy and continued her training with them in Vinyasa Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Science of Pranayama, and the ‘Viniyoga of Yoga’ approach. She pursued her studies completing the intensive Hatha Yoga training at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, and later in Yoga Therapy at the Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga School in Kerala, India.

She further trained under James Winstanley of AYM Institute, UK in an in-depth program in Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Therapy. She also had the rare opportunity to study the principles of “Viniyoga of Yoga” under Lalita Ganguly of Yogasadhanam, India. She recently completed a course in ‘Pranayama Unlocked’ offered by Gary Kraftsow at Yoga International. Reshma is also a certified Biomechanics Specialist (NESTA, USA).

She believes it is important to continue the journey of learning and self-reflection in order to evolve as a person and teacher and is currently pursuing a course on Principles of Yoga and Breathing Anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff.

Fabrizio Schmidt is a qualified and registered Ashtanga and Vinyasa Teacher with Yoga Alliance and he continues his journey by learning and sharing with other fellow yogis and everyone who wishes to explore Yoga.
He is very passionate about yoga philosophy, meditation and pranayama practices as well as the therapeutic aspects of this discipline. His self-practice, classes, and lifestyle reflect his passion and dedication.

schedule

  • Day 1: Leh- Lamayuru

Arrival at Leh airport, and transfer for Lamayuru. Enroute see the Lamayuru Monastery. Stay at Hotel Moonland.

  • Day 2: Lamayuru to Leh

Morning yoga/meditation. After breakfast depart for Leh city and Enroute visit the Alchi Monastery, Thikshey Monastery, Ice Stupa and reach Leh by evening and night stay at Leh Hotel Tsokar or Similar. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 3: Leh to Pangong Lake – Leh

Morning yoga/meditation. After early morning Breakfast Proceed to Pangong Tso via Changla pass. It’s a Journey of 135 Km one way, 5 Hrs. Return back to Leh by late evening Stay at Leh. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 4: Leh – Hunder

Morning yoga/meditation. Today we proceed to Hunder (Sand Dunes) after Breakfast via Khardungla Pass and visit Dishkit Monastery; A total journey of 135kms. Approx. 6 Hrs. Stay At Hunder. Hotel Karma-Inn or Similar. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 5: Hunder – Turtuk – Hunder

Morning yoga/meditation. Early Morning Proceed to Turtuk, A remote and last village of Indian border a village of 4,000 in-habited by ethnic Muslims. Night-Stay at Hunder. Hotel Karma-Inn or Similar. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 6 & Day 7: Hunder – Lakir – Hunder

Morning yoga/meditation. Small Trek to Lakir from Hunder. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 8: Hunder – Leh

Morning yoga/meditation. Return from Lakir Trek & Back to Leh in the evening. Stay at Leh. Hotel Tsokar or Similar. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 9: Leh Local Sightseeing

Morning yoga/meditation. Proceed for local Sight-seeing. Visit Sangam, Hemis Gompa, Leh Palace,Shanti Supa, Chowkang Monestary & Hall of Fame. Night-Stay at Leh. Evening restorative yoga/meditation.

  • Day 10: Fly Back

Fly Back to your destination.
